Hello these couple weeks Hugh, Theo and I made a 3d city out of paper nets for our 3d shapes lessons. Paper nets are bits of paper that you can fold up and glue to make a shape. We repeated this with different shapes and we got a city. Theo cut out the nets and Hugh and I colored them and made them into shapes. It was a ton of fun but unfortunately we have already done this activity the previous year which took some fun out of it. I still enjoyed the activity and am hoping that we will do some more fun things in the future. Did you learn anything about 3d shapes?

Hello today I made a canva animation using help from a year 5 and a year 6 from Belfast School. They were on a google meet and taught us how to make our own animation. Today I made a poster about komodo dragons it has tons of information and drawings to help you learn about. They look like crocodiles with a smaller mouth and longer legs. What do you like about komodo dragons.

Hello, this week we learnt percentages in maths. It is really easy because I have learnt some strategies to solve 50% 25% and 10%, and I am going to teach you them. The easiest is 50% because all you need to do is half the number. For the 25% you first half the number and half it again. For example 50% of 50 = 25 -50% = 12.5 so your answer is 12.5. for 10% you can – a zero on the end or add a decimal point. For example 10% of 50 = 5. and 50% of 55 = 5.5. This is very helpful for the future and will help you a lot.

Hello today I had to pick 2 websites to research about butterflies. I first used wikipedia and then another wildlife source. They matched up so I had to answer some questions with the information. It was a really fun reading activity.

Hello this week is tongan language week and I have made a poster to show you tongan colors. Tongan colours have a deep meaning so that’s why I am going to teach you what they mean. Hello, today I learnt the kawa of care again but this time we had to pick what rule we had to make a poster of one of the rule and post it on our blogs! I chose not to touch other peoples chromebooks because it’s a very important one.

My reading group has been doing some work around ecosystems. I had to read a piece of writing and answer some questions.
